Swift is there, supporting her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs as they do battle with the Baltimore Ravens. The pop star walked into the first game of the NFL regular season shortly before 6 p.m. on a Thursday, causing excitement among fans inside and outside Siddhi behind fences.
Strolling the back halls of Arrowhead Stadium, Swift was dressed for style in a bluejeaned and corset-skirted outfit to offset maroon shiny thigh-high boots. The price of the blue Versace top she is wearing runs a bill with $1,325. Before she and fiancé Mark Ballas hit the indoor for a quickstep-and-a-boss-nova twofer, an audience spotted her working her way Hilton-hotelward-up from the elevator to their suite while giving waves to passerby’s with “Hello, how are you guys? Big smile, all brushed out and confidant—she was having so much fun!
Breaking from the Eras Tour
Swift is taking a two-month hiatus from her massive Eras Tour, which has all five cities left to traverse. The concert break could allow her five weeks to catch the first month of the worldwide regular season before returning for a 9-night residency in Miami, New Orleans, and Indianapolis at the end of October—beginning November. That being said, she may be able to come out for the Monday night game between Kansas City and Tampa Bay on November 4th. That same day, Dec. 8, is when Swift will end her tour in Toronto, so the Chiefs have four regular-season games she can attend to root for them on: at New England (Dec.
Is Swift a good luck charm for the Chiefs? Well, it seems that the head coach, Andy Reid, certainly does. Back in October, when the debate was raging over whether Swift had been on a nationally televised NFL cablecast for perhaps just more than 20 seconds or not at all, Reid got a question about if she might have served as some sort of talisman to his team and actually admitted he thought so. Kelce is like wine; he gets better with age. As far as Calvin is concerned, “Taylor can be around and stay all she wants.”

Kelce came out recently confirming that his wife, Swift, has spent a lot of time learning the rules and ways of football. The season opener of the NFL 2024 featured a memorable opening in Arrowhead Stadium as Swift, Brittany Mahomes, and other Chiefs fans were asked to take shelter during a strong but brief storm that swept through the stadium. The rain and lightning were so bad that kickoff had to be delayed 20 minutes, but when they finally got started, it was easy for Ocean Lakes.

Although the weather was not ideal, spirits were high as everyone began to welcome in another season.

Swift attending games may or may not have some influence over the Chiefs’ local fanbase, but her association with Kelce hasn’t hurt. The Kelce family seems to be enjoying the excitement of this fresh NFL season.
Swift was at that Super Bowl game in Las Vegas, as he made 13 Chiefs games last season. And as the Chiefs prepare for another potentially great season, fans are hoping that she remains their good luck charm. This is especially impressive given that coming in the team has both one of the froshiest rosters and a historically miserable preseason record, giving an opportunity to potentially make history as no other NFL squad ever before won three consecutive titles.
A Season of Hope
This season is a once in a-lifetime opportunity for the two, according to Kelce. As he told the Rich Eisen Show on September 3: “I’m just having so much fun… I’m so appreciative and so fortunate that I’ve been able to come into year 12 and still have this energy and this love and, you know, be out there doing what we do.”
The limit is the sky and above for Kelce, alongside Swift and the Chiefs. Can Taylor Swift keep on bringing good vibes to Kentucky in 2019? We will have to wait and see, but it is one that the fans are certainly thrilled about seeing unfold.
